Together Sylvie Belanger and Diane Ferland create the dynamic partnership that is Cassandre Glass Studio. Started in 1995, the first glass casting studio of Quebec has quickly gained international acclaim through their distinctive and unique works of art and custom architectural projects. Using 100% recycled glass this unique process of casting glass begins with their design created into a sand mold. Various glass frits are layered into the sand. Then molten clear glass is carefully poured into the mold. The result is a truly unique work of art that has a textured side and a smooth side allowing their inherent ability to glow.
